Main Menu Selections
Prescriptions

• Clicking New allows you to start a new prescription.  You MUST know the patient’s Chart number.  If you navigated from the Patients module the patient’s Chart number is placed into the clipboard!
• Refill Known# will allow you to find a previous prescription using the Rx number and then, if refills remain, allow you to refill the prescription!
• Refill Unknown# allows you to find ALL of a patient’s past prescriptions and select the one to refill

Reports
The first three reports allow you to select the time period for the report by entering a start and end date.

• Clicking By Drugname creates a report for the time period you specify showing who received each drug dispensed during that time.  Each medication is printed on a separate page!
• Clicking By Date creates a report with no separation of medications by page!
• Profit Report shows you the amount of net profit for the time period selected for all drugs and all doctors!
• Patient Ledger creates at itemized ledger of all medications dispensed to a new patient.  This ledger can be used by the patient to get reimbursement for all medications.  
  

Other Functions

• Clicking Label Setup takes you to the label layout where you can edit the appearance of the label.
• Clicking Quit will quit the ENTIRE PracticeMaker™ program!
• About! shows you the splash screen for The Dispenser!
• Clicking Entry takes you to the entry screen of the last viewed prescription!
